Properties: Potassium Nitrate is a colorless transparent rhombic or rhombic crystal white powder, easily soluble in water, liquid nitrogen and glycerin, but insoluble in absolute ethanol and ether. Potassium Nitrate is not easy to deliquesce in the air and is a strong oxidant. Potassium Nitrate can burn and explode in contact with organic matter.

Precautions for Transportation: Potassium Nitrate shall be transported separately, and the container shall not leak, collapse, fall or damage during transportation. It is strictly forbidden to mix potassium nitrate with acids, combustibles, organics, reducing agents, spontaneous combustion materials and wet combustibles.
Uses:
1. Potassium Nitrate is mainly used for fireworks, black powder, matches, fuse, wick, color picture tube, chemical reagent, catalyst, mineral dressing agent, analytical reagent, oxidant, ceramic glaze, glass, car lamp shell, glass clarifier, strengthened glass production process, foliar spraying fertilizer for flowers, vegetables, fruit trees and other economic crops.
2. Potassium Nitrate Fertilizer: Potassium Nitrate is used as compound fertilizer for crops and flowers. Potassium Nitrate is used in the pharmaceutical industry to produce penicillin potassium salt, rifampicin medicine, and cigarette paper.
3. Potassium Nitrate is used in the food industry as a hair coloring agent, color protectant, antimicrobial agent, and preservative. For example, it is used for curing meat and has a preservative effect in luncheon meat.
4. Potassium Nitrate is also a hair coloring agent allowed in China. It is reduced to Potassium Nitrite due to the action of bacteria in meat products to protect the color and inhibit bacteria. In addition, the metallurgical industry uses potassium nitrate as an auxiliary material.
